Below is the family of three families found in the Volsunga Saga - the Volungs, the Niflungs (or Nibelungs) and the House of Budli.
Please note that in the First Lay of Gudrun (Poetic Edda), Gudrun has a sister named Gullrond. But in the Prose Edda, Snorri Sturluson says that her sister was named Gudny, and Guttorm was only her half-brother; this make Guttorm as the stepson of Giuki.
Also, there are no mention of Oddrun, the sister of Atli and Brynhild, in Snorri's Prose Edda.
Whereas in the family tree above, I have listed Niflung being the son of Hogni and Kostbera, but in Poetic Edda (the poem titled, The Death of the Niflungs), Niflung was called Giuki instead.
In the poem from the Edda, Brynhild's Ride to Hell (Helreid Brynhildar), Brynhild has seven sisters, but unnamed.
